Member of the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team. Position PM (Point Man). His marksmanship is #1 on his team and he's an ace at observation and insight. Once a member of the USAF, he has a license to pilot helicopters. He was in the same unit as his current teammate, Barry Burton. He's unshakeable in any situation but this same straight-laced personality also means that he sometimes butts heads with his superiors. Although he's an exceptional pilot, he was released from his unit because of his frequent disagreements with his superior officers. After his release, he was recruited by S.T.A.R.S. for his military prowess. In addition to having plenty of battle experience with everything from a handgun to a flamethrower, he can easily engage in hand- to-hand combat as well. His S.T.A.R.S. armored vest has a built-in holder for knives and this is where he keeps his beloved large combat knife.

Once, Chris was a proud member of the Air Force. However, for unspecified reasons he was discharged from service and became an aimless drifter. Then his life changed the day he met Barry Burton, who befriended and recruited him to join the S.T.A.R.S. Team. Chris has made the most of his second chance and now works with a small task force based in Raccoon City.

Expelled from the Air Force for exceeding the authority vested in his rank, Chris Redfield has been recruited for the Raccoon City S.T.A.R.S. unit by former military comrade Barry Burton. Chris is the type of man who places human life at a greater priority than following orders, which is not always in synch with the military mindset. As a newly appointed member of S.T.A.R.S., Chris is looking forward to offering help to citizens in need. However, he barely has time to unpack his belongings and settle in to his new surroundings before he is dispatched to rescue the missing Bravo Team members.

A former soldier with a perseverance of steel who knows no fear, Chris is part of the S.T.A.R.S. special force. He excels in the use of firearms. Before enlisting in S.T.A.R.S., he was a pilot in the Air Force, flying missions overseas. After solving the bizarre mansion incident, he crossed Europe with companions Jill and Barry seeking the truth behind the incident.

The elder Redfield sibling, Chris is a highly trained officer of the Raccoon City Police Department's S.T.A.R.S. squad. His crusade against Umbrella is personal. Several of his teammates were killed when the S.T.A.R.S. were betrayed by Albert Wesker. Chris is resourceful and tough, as he demonstrated by surviving his first encounter with Umbrella's zombies in Raccoon City.

In a previous life, Chris once served in the U.S. Air Force where, apart from becoming a skilled pilot, he was taught the arts of hand-to-hand and knife combat. However, his strong sense of justice always being a source of conflict between him and his superiors, the talented pilot found himself kicked out of the U.S.A.F. For a while, Chris drifted around the country, embittered by the experience. He was a man without a purpose - until he met Barry Burton for the first time. Impressed by Redfield's abilities, talent and background, Barry recruited him as a Point Man for the newly-formed S.T.A.R.S. and stationed Chris with his own unit, the Raccoon City Alpha Team.

There, Chris honed his skills with renewed vigour and became a force to be reckoned with. After countless target practice sessions alongside Bravo Team's sniper, Forest Speyer, with whom he became close friends, he eventually surpassed his comrade and won the annual marksman competition. His favourite weapon is his trusty Samurai Edge, which Barry took to the Kendo Gun Shop for customisation. Chris has a little sister, Claire, who he is very protective of. He would fend off the abominations from hell itself to keep her safe. Unfortunately, this very situation is about to occur as the Alpha Team sets out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Bravo Team in the Arklay mountains not too long ago.

A member of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team, his markmanship is #1 amongst the sharp-shooters assembled in Alpha. He was once a pilot in the U.S.A.F. and has been rigorously trained in hand-to-hand as well as knife combat. He has pursued Umbrella and the people behind it even after the fall of Raccoon City by helping to organize a private biohazard containment unit.

An excellent observer with keen insight, his sense of right and wrong is unwavering. This is often a source of conflict between Chris and his superiors. He has a younger sister, Claire, who he is very protective of.

Former Air Force pilot discharged for disobeying orders to help someone in trouble. Chris Redfield is unquestionably the most dangerous member of the S.T.A.R.S. team. Originally assigned to the Raccoon City unit, Redfield was instrumental in the destruction of the mansion and the original B.O.W. and was recently involved in the cold-blooded extermination of Alexia, our most beloved creation.

Captain Wesker has given special instructions for this subject. If encountered, do not engage alone. Redfield is tough, cunning and extremely resilient... only someone with "enhanced" abilities such as Captain Wesker should risk a confrontation.
